Can someone help me evaluate this integral? I know the final answer...but need help getting to it. Upper bound: 9, Lower bound:0. Integral is 5* sq rt(x) dx

OpenStudy (turingtest):

how far have you gotten?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the integration of x done but im confused as to how to simplify it with the 5 and the bounds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/3x^3/2 + C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the final answer should be 90 correct? But I cannot come to that so need help getting there

OpenStudy (turingtest):

\[\frac23(9)^{3/2}-\frac23(0)^{3/2}=\frac23\sqrt{9^3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that comes to 18 though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/3* 27

OpenStudy (turingtest):

yeah it does

OpenStudy (turingtest):

oh but you have that 5 out front

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks
