my volume is turned up all the way but it does not have any sound . can anyone help me? i would be grateful also if i try advanced system settings the thing does not even open , what a pity right? i need this thing fixed so i can watch videos and work on more of my own amvs , writing books no problem but this volume has to be fixed someone please help DX if i try restoring to a later point , i would click show more restore points and see 3/7/2014 pop up, then i click it and then click next, it then shows my selected restore point , and the current time which is eastern

Did you try restarting your computer?  Maybe your speakers are broken :(  Does any sound play with headphones?

I did try restarting and my headphones are somewhere in the basement since I moved

Hmm... Try with your headphones, the speaker probably blew out-especially if you moved, they may have gotten damaged.  Good luck!
