A) the Soviets agreed to remove missiles from Cuba.
B) the US bombed Soviet missile sites.
C) the US negotiated with Fidel Castro to destroy the missile sites
D) the UN forced the two sides to compromise on missiles.

Oh sorry I just gave you the date only, but the soviets and americans agreed to remove missiles from Cuba :)
