Okay. I think I can help you with that. Let's talk about capitals. Letters are capitalized when they start a sentence and when you are naming a name such as "Jazzy" or "The Hunger Games". As for the quotation marks...I will tell you what I learned in my English I class. You use direct quotations when you are quoting another person's exact words that were either spoken or printed. You use a set of quotation marks to enclose each direct quotation and use a capital letter with the first word of the direct quotation ONLY when it is a whole sentence. If the quotation is interrupted and then continues in your sentence, do not capitalize the second part of the quotation. IMPORTANT; --> Periods and commas go inside the quotation, not outside --> Semicolons and colons always go outside. --> When using a quote within a quote use '' --> If you don't want to use all the quoted material, use an allipsis mark to include the omitted words.
