Do you think people rely too much or too little on body language when communicating? Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I move around a LOT, and I've gotta say the last 2 countries I've been to had lots of body language while communicating, be it vulgar things or just regular day talk. It really depends on where you're from.

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

Welllll it depends if you are talking about the boring fatties living in America then no they don't rely on body language. Now if it was about Italians and Greeks, the only way they can talk is by moving their hands at the same time. So they rely A LOT on body language or they couldn't talk ._. like me.... so i will shut up now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Elaborate, please? Y'all didn't really detailed responses..lol But I'm not talking about anybody or any country/race in particular, rather people in general.

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

XD im not good at this stuff. it was supposed to be a joke what i said because im greek and yeah... ._. but nevermind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol oh..Okay then. My blonde hair prevented me from getting the joke..!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh trust me, my sister is a brunette and she's worse.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dye my hair light blonde, it's naturally a dirty-ish blonde.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nice c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

Let's not make this spam now. no matter how much we really want to ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Back to the question, will y'all elaborate on your answers if ya could, please?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

I can't sorry. Not my best... :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Communicating with gestures could come in handy when it comes to people who cannot hear or talk. For example, if you go up to someone random and ask them where the nearest restaurant is, you can ask them verbally while also gesturing about eating food...if you know what I mean. That person could be deaf, and only understand you by your gestures.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for your responses! I have a similar question to this, but instead of body language, it's words.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol I dont think we'd be able to communicate right without words xD Think about it: People use words every day to communicate, not only verbally. Sign language has words, typing and writing has words. We would not be able to communicate without words in general.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol alright, thanks again! That's a good point. I'm not sure why my teacher wants me to answer that question..lol
