I'm not a fan of James Stewart's calculus early trans. Any recommendations for alternative calc text for self-study?

I think Larson, Hostetler and Edwards "Calculus of a single variable" is very good for that
I used that for Cal 1 and liked it better than Stewart's book. But it is slightly less advanced, but it is easier to understand I find.
The subject is new to me so less advanced is fine with me. Thanks!
Nice! Thanks mlee81

No problem, it's one of best Cal resources I've ever used.
