Directed toward the center of the curve, so D.

yes, D

D Because whenever net force=0, then acceleration=0 ie rate of change of VELOCITY (not speed) = 0 therefore, velocity is constant In this question, the velocity is definitely not constant, since the car is travelling in a circle, hence it's changing its direction at every moment. So, net force is NOT zero. Since it's travelling in a circular path, and the rate of change of velocity always points towards the center of rotation, so force is directed towards the centre of the curve.
