The left side of a balanced scale has 5 blocks and a bag while the right side has 12 blocks. How many blocks are in the bag? Explain how you found your answer.

I am guessing 7. Reason being, the scales are balanced. There has to be as many blocks on one side as there are on the other....unless, of course, the bag weighs a lot...lol
