i need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Copernicus and Kepler were astronomers who had proposed theories about the solar system. Copernicus believed that Earth and other planets circled a stationary sun. Kepler believed that the sun rotated like planets. Which of these statements best explains why Copernicus and Kepler made different observations about the solar system? They used outdated data to make inferences. They used incorrect methods of experimentation. They had different goals which influenced their inferences. They could not match their observations with their calculations.

I always hated these type of questions . As we (think we) know Copernicus is correct. They used outdated data to make inferences. I don't 100% get the option. They used incorrect methods of experimentation. well, I can see this choice ! They had different goals which influenced their inferences. they weren't part of the politics (don't confuse with Galileo's opponents) They could not match their observations with their calculations. I don't think this option is the answer. right from my head, idk more, sorry.
