Given the triangle below, which of the following is a correct statement?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sec right triangle C equals fraction 3 over 7 cot right triangle B equals fraction 3 over 2 sec right triangle B equals fraction 7 over 3 cot right triangle C equals fraction 1 over 2

OpenStudy (lucaz):

use this

OpenStudy (lucaz):

when you have 1/sin, for example, you just flip the ratio from a/b to b/a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (lucaz):

try the cot(C)

OpenStudy (lucaz):

tan(C)=opp/adj=6/3=2 cot(C)=adj/opp=3/6=1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its d right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you help me out with 1 more @lucaz

OpenStudy (lucaz):

what is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In △PQR, find the measure of ∡P. 30.4° 59.6° 35.9° 54.1°

OpenStudy (lucaz):

well, you can use the inverse trig function. PQ is the adjacent side, PR is the hypothenuse adj/hyp is the cos(P)=33.8/57.6 so arccos(33.8/57.6) gives you the angle P apprx. 54.06 or 54.1 degrees
