OpenStudy (lizett22):

Square EFGH stretches vertically by a factor of 2.5 to create square E′F′G′H′. The square stretches with respect to the x-axis. If point H is located at (-2, 0), what are the coordinates of H′ ? a(-5, 0) b(-2, 0) c(0.5, 0) d(-2, 2.5)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

what does it mean stretches with respect to the x-axis ?

OpenStudy (lizett22):

@timo86m @SolomonZelman i havve no idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

means it stretches left and right.

OpenStudy (lizett22):

still dont get it :(

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I don't get it. it wouldn't be a square if you stretch it left and right.

OpenStudy (lizett22):

ah

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

is that a sound of despair or an abbreviation ?

OpenStudy (lizett22):

despair like flutter man

OpenStudy (lizett22):

flutter

OpenStudy (lizett22):

fu ck

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

because some people use it as an "as_ ho_e"

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am out, not disturbing anyone anymore (:)

OpenStudy (lizett22):

@timaashorty

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

they were helping you, you could have been nicer..

OpenStudy (lizett22):

what did i say that was mean ?

OpenStudy (jtvatsim):

hmm... looking at the problem, the wording is kind of vague... I would think that maybe you can multiply by 2.5? So, 2.5 * -2 = -5. Not real confident on this one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes @dejava16
