Which verb agrees with its subject? The recent news reports on the radio __________ very informative. A. was B. wasn't C. isn't D. weren't

OpenStudy (31356):

weren't

Thx :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually its wasn't because was is past tense like weren't but the word was is used to often describe nouns unlike were which is used to describe people so thake this "The recent news reports on the radio "wasn't" very informative." "The recent news reports on the radio weren't very informative." both are very similar but right answer would be wasn't
