That's MUCH better
A) -x +y =6
B) 2x + y = -12
Multiply equation B by -1
B) -2x - y = 12 then add to A)
A) -x +y =6
-3x = 18
x = -6
Putting x=-6 into equation A we get
--6 + y = 6
6 + y = 6
y = 0
