The product of two positive numbers is greater than 1. Can their sum be less than .10? Explain

If the sum pf two positive numbers is less than 0.1 or 1/10, then each number has to be a fraction less than 1/10. The product of two positive numbers that are proper fractions (that is less than 1) cannot be greater than 1. Therefore, the answer is no.

But it is already mentioned that the product of 2 positive numbers is greater than1
