Written Algebra Assignment help..Rationalizing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is your question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jeez where did this nonsense come from? which one would you like to do?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I want a piece of 10 and 11. 10) D is silly. It's just wrong. Creating a standard form to make grading easier is a very common justification for "rationalizing the denominator". No sense trying to prove the theory incorrect by simply supplying an incorrect result. 11) Doesn't say anything one way or the other. There are very few actual, advantageous situation or reasons from such rationalizing. They student's theory is just as valid as any other. In fact, UNrationalizing the denominator when solving a quadratic equation by the quadratic formula leads to less round-off error. How about THEM apples?!
