Mathematics 10 Online

Hi, I'm studying for the SAT and ACT (which I will be taking in 10 weeks). Can anyone recommend a good plan of attack? I've ordered an SAT study guide, so I have access to full practice exams and individual sections. I'm home schooled, so I can work on it any day of the week. I was thinking of drilling Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, then taking a full practice test every Saturday. My math scores need to go up - I was thinking of drilling for math on Monday, critical reading + vocab + timed essay writing on Wednesday, and then math again Friday.

don't study to hard, if you do that you will fail, take your time, go over questions with family and friends, on the night of your exam go to bed early with a light dinner nothing to much to eat. eat a big breakfast in the morning and go the the mirror and tell yourself you will pass....best of luck to you!!

Any specific study plans, guys? Like when to drill for what?

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

so do I, if you want to we can help each other here

interactmath.com has tons of free practice problems with solution sets ... just enter, and pick a textbook that matches your skill level, or the level you want to obtain.

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

I can help you with critical reading @rock_mit182, my scores are really good there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, @amistre64! I'll use that for sure :)

@rock_mit182 I can help with critical reading and writing practice. I need help with my math skills, but here I was mainly requesting help on what kind of study schedule works best to prepare in a 10-week period. Do you think 3 drills a week + 1 full test a week will work well, or would that be too much?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there a way you can study together on here? Would private messaging work?

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

i guess is enough , is important also to give yourself some fun, i mean some quality time

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

@shopgirl1701 lol we are good in the opposite subjects, good stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whoohoo! When are you taking the exam? June 7th?

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

if I'd do the exam on april. when the results would be ready ?

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

i guess is on may and not april the next date

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's three to seven weeks after you take the exam, or you can pay to get results 10-14 days after.

OpenStudy (rock_mit182):

i didn't know that
