jason designed an arch made of wrought iron for the top of a mall entrance. the 11 segments between the two concentric circles are 1.25 m long. find the length of the wrought iron used to make the structure. round to the nearest meter
thank you for the diagram.
sorry i had to figure out how to put it there :)
See if this helps.
my teacher said that my work was partially right but i dont see what else i could have done
Is the file you just attached what your teacher said needed to be corrected?
yes.....
hmm...give me a minute to look it over
Wait, were you not supposed to round the final answer?
it says to round it.....
Sorry about that. My internet is acting screwy. Also, I've checked back over your work and found that on the second line you have already solved for 11(1.25) and put 13.75, so you don't need to write 11(1.25) again. Does that make sense?
oh hehe so it was yet another silly error :/
Eh, don't feel to bad. I'm notorious for making them. ^_^
See? I just typed to instead of too...proof
well was that the only error that you could see
Yes it is.
thanks :)
