HELP HELP HELP Me Please On # 33. I need to simplify it i know the answer but can u write it step by step for me.
please
?
So it would just be like expanding a polynomial... \[\large (3√2 - 2√5) (4√2 + 2√5)\] You multiply the first term in the first parenthesis...by both terms in the second... \[\large (3√2 \times 4√2) + (3√2 \times 2√5)\] Then take the 2nd term in the first parenthesis..and do the same \[\large (-2√5 \times 4√2) + (-2√5 \times 2√5)\] so altogether we have \[\large (3√2 \times 4√2) + (3√2 \times 2√5) - (2√5 \times 4√2) + (-2√5 \times 2√5)\] And start simplifying it out... what is \(\large 3√2 \times 4√2\) \(\large = 12 \times 2 = 24\) what is \(\large 3√2 \times 2√5\) \(\large = 6√10 \) what is \(\large -2√5 \times 4√2\) \(\large = -8√10\) what is \(\large -2√5 \times 2√5\) \(\large = -4 \times 5 = -20\) So we have...in all... \[\large 24 + 6√10 - 8√10 - 20\] 24 - 20 = 4 so \[\large 4 + 6√10 - 8√10\] Combine those square roots since they have the same number under the radical \[\large 4 - 2√10\]
THANK U SO MUCH!:)
Anytime :) just sorry it took so long to write lol
