Find the exact solutions in radians: sin3x=1/2

OpenStudy (kainui):

Don't look at it like it's mysterious. You've seen sine of an angle be equal to 1/2 before right? So what angle, when you take the sine of it, gives you 1/2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 degree angle?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Yeah exactly! So that means that the 3x on the inside must be equal to 30 degrees (or pi/6 radians). There's also another angle that it could possibly be, do you know what that is?
