In need of clarification! Why or how does B'(t) related to the velocity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looking at letter d.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

the derivative gives instantaneous rate of change of some variable with respect to some other variable. So if the first variable is a distance, and the second variable is time, we have instantaneous rate of change of distance with respect to time. By definition this is velocity.

Awesome! Thank you! :D
