Can someone help me come up with a real world example containing at least 2 variables?

I walk into my AP Statistics class and measure everyone's height and SAT score. I look to see if there is a correlation between height and intelligence. 2 variables: height & SAT score

a painter uses a certain kind of paint for every job he does, if the surface area of the room he was hired to do changes the amount of paint he uses changes. a taxi driver charges $2 every mile he drives if the drive is longer the price is higher if the drive is short the price is low.
