Yesterday, Jed's bank account balance was –$26.34. He deposited some money into his account so that the balance is now $42.18. How much did he deposit into his account? A. $15.84 B. $16.84 C. $68.42 D. $68.52

Alright this is a diffy-q for sure. This is rather simple though not that many variations. Uses u-substitution to find the initial state of a qubit before it is observed in the plus/minus basis and use Grover's algorithm to search through a lattice of N indexes.

@ARMYRANGERS

It should turn out something like this

@mossyfish @

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

no it is more like dkhjadkjfadjhfajhsj 54865848r4,mf @happytales

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That just looks like non-sense. ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright here's a better example sparkle. Think of a fish that is in several different parts and pieces and try to put it back together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

hey the real answer is C or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically after you use Grover's algorithm and find N indexes, the answer is D.

We need to figure out what the difference between -26.34 and 42.18 is. We know that to balance the account we need to be at 0. So, we'll add 26.34 to the original debt. We are now at 0. So, you need to figure out \[26.34+42.18=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

68.52

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pufffffffffyyyy fishhhhhhhhh :D @mossyfish

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great job, Sparkle!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mossyfish can you be my pet fishy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@happytales I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but if you need help with anything I can tutor you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mossyfish Please be my fishyyy!
