a metaphor is kind of like a "different" word to call it by like to make it sound more like something else or such as explaining it better? I don't know how to explain it but here's an example. " The cat had teeth like daggers" Are they really like daggers? No, they just look like it and its a better word than just saying sharp...understand? :)
