From what region was Japan most positively influenced throughout its industrial development?

I don't know what the choices are because the test closed so I have to reset it.

Hmm... It's tricky, depending on when in Japanese history we're talking about. If we're looking at the 1930's, though, based on your last question, I'd probably say Manchuria. Japan doesn't have a lot of resources of its own (oil, metals, etc..) and was desperate to find sources to continue building its industry. Manchuria had the mineral ores they needed and heavily industrialized the region.

That's one of the big reasons why their military essentially staged an invasion to take it over.
