Metaloids are a term used in periodic chemistry that classifies the basic elements as either metal or nonmetal based elements. There are three characteristics of metaloids and that is they possess some character of metal and some non metals, they are semi conductive and have a metallic luster. They carry an electrical charge and can be useful in such items as calculators. There are seven elements classified as metalliods and they are Boron, Silicon, Germanium, Arsenic, Antimony, Tellurium and Polonium.... why dont you google your question ... most of these are already put up on yahoo and crap like that
