in circle O, CD=44,OM=20,ON=19.CD is perpendicular to OM, EF is perpendicular to ON. (figure not drawn to scale. a)what is the radius? if the answer is not an integer, express in radical form. b)find FN. if your answer is not an integer, express in radical form c)find EF. express it as a decimal rounded to the nearest tenth.
this looks familiar
i did it before but my teacher told me i did it wrong :/ it is #12
you could simplify sqr(884) to 2 sqr(221)
although I think you confused 884 with 848?
and you then used sqr(848) in part (b). So you did it correctly, except your calculator keeps switching 884 into 848 ??!
dang it dyslexia yea i did XD
I think you should get: \[ a) \sqrt{884}= 2 \sqrt{221} \\b) \sqrt{523} \\ c) \ 2 \sqrt{523}= 45.7 \]
i see the 2 sqrt 221 now can we walk through the b and c part?
Do you remember what you did for step (b) on your paper? |dw:1395866334477:dw|
