Five hundred tickets were sold for a certain music concert. The tickets for the adults and children sold for $7.50 and $4.00, respectively, and the total receipts for the performance were $3,312.50. How many of each kind of ticket were sold?

AWESOME!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 375 adult tickets and 125 kids tickets and your welcome :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to make the tickets intro variables

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you could use x ot T for tickets ex: T=4.00 and T=7.50 solve or T and just incorporate the 3,312.50 and then the final answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome also if u want it easier just do 7.50x+4.00y=3,312.50
