According to the nebular hypothesis, how did most of the excess dust and gas in the solar system get removed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this a math question? I don't see any numbers in it lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The gas and dust formed all the planets. The solar wind pushed the excess gas and dust away. The gas and dust were burned up during nuclear fusion. The outer planets pulled the excess dust and gas into orbit around them.
