another way to factor is finding two numbers the product is equal to A*C and the sum is equal to B, from the equation Ax^2+Bx+C
so the sum is -2(from -2x) and the product is -8(from 1*-8)
try -4 and 2..
-4*2=-8
-4+2=-2
