OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

apparently i am missing something :/

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

If AB is a tangent triangle ABO will be right angled at B see if the lengths of the lines fit the pythagoras theorem

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

A line drawn from the centre of a circle to the point of contact of a tangent is at 90 degrees to the tangent.

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

@cwrw238 like what i attached

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are two possibilities though. Either a) That is not a tangent line for reasons you correctly pointed out. b) The measurements done weren't accurate. (It is a tangent line but one side is clearly off) But I think it's a) so yeah, what's the issue ?

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

my teacher said i am missing part of the answer and i havent a clue what it is

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

she said my answer is incomplete.....
