Find the derivative of f(x) = 5/x at x = -1.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You'd no doubt find this problem easier if you'd first rewrite f(x) = 5/x as \[f(x)=5x ^{-1}\] Now apply the power and constant coefficient rules.
