Can someone help me with this question? a. x^2 - x - 2 = 0 b. x^2 - x = -1 How would I draw these in a graph??

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you can use a table of values say x= -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 and find the matching y values, plot the points... that's one method

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that the only method?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

find the zeros, find the y intercept, find the vertex. then connect the dots

Thanks

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I highly doubt you teacher wanted you to plot random points. Do you know how to find all the things I mentioned?

I'm home schooled so yeah.... Not really....
