Why did many Civil Rights leaders oppose President Lyndon Johnson on the Vietnam War? They felt that the draft unfairly targeted minorities. They did not support any foreign policy of the United States. They were strong supporters of the communist Vietcong. They objected to the segregation in the U.S. military.
