OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

What is the exact volume of the cylinder? A. 1339.56 mm³ B. 1339.56π mm³ C. 5358.24 mm³ D. 5358.24π mm³

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

volume of a cylinder is given by \[V = \pi r^2 h\]You know \(r\) and \(h\) from the diagram. Do the calculation...

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

No I don't know :(

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

You have two dimensions marked on the diagram. One is the height, and one is the radius.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

A radius goes from the center of a circle, to the edge. It is half the length of a diameter. I hope I don't need to explain height to you :-)

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

:( I don't get it at all :(

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

What don't you get, exactly? How to read the dimensions off that diagram?
