okay i have no idea how to figure this out Blake ran 3/2 as far as Frank. Frank ran 5/4 miles. How many miles did Blake run? 1 1/7 2 3/4 1 1/5 1/4

Don't let the fractions confuse you. Think of a similar problem with easier numbers. Figure out how you'd solve it. Then solve the original problem the same way. For example, if the problem were: Blake ran 2 times as far as Frank. Frank ran 3 miles. How would you calculate how far Blake ran?
