Okay fellow writers, I challenge you! I am writing a story about a more serious version of The Princess And The Pea it will be soon to be published on my art blog- but I need your help.

I might it depends, in which context, what kinda of literary work are you trying to create? What I don't like it when people skew fairytales into some kinda cliche flick.

But then again it seems all like light-hearted fun, so lemme throw something stupid into the mix:

Write a story about a pea. Write about her jouney and how she feels opressed by authority and the oligarchy she lives in. The pea's determination to create a fairer society bothers the princess, and she executes the pea, in fear of her power being uprooted. The life of the pea is chrushed by this princess. The pea represented the poor, the helpless, the working-class, crushed by the establishment, and who are naive enough to think they can create a change in the world, even though their intentions are good.

LOL! no!!! @dumbsearch2 My version of the story actually has nothing to do with the actual pea. The prince's name is Peter and he gets trapped in the dungeon in which the floor door to the entrance of the dungeon is underneath the princess' bed all along. I'm not one of those cheesy authors :P
