square root of 12 times the square root of 27? can someone help and show me how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square root of 12 means which number can be multiplied by itself to get 12, since there is no such number that can be multiplied by itself to get 12, it's going to be a decimal, so square root of 12 is 3.46, same thing with square root of 27, it is going to be a decimal which is 5.2 (rounded). so 3.46 times 5.2=17.992
