The World- A Poem

The world is a dark place
even when the sun shines
But the world will never be as dark
as my mind
There's so much going on
people don't stop to look and see
That there is pain in the most perfect people
Yeah, even me
All the bad polluted air
making it hard to breathe
hard to care
Maybe one-day this world will be clean
and we can all be the way we used to be
But until then my heart will remain cold and dark
full of scratches, scars, and even marks
