OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

I do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol the ques says so

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I never learned this, sorry, but I can try to help you a little... first, I suggest reordering the numbers from least to greatest http://www.purplemath.com/modules/stemleaf.htm

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Let me see... Gimme a sec

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

@jigglypuff314 110,114,124, 130, 132,143,143,147

OpenStudy (math_genius123):

just find the mode first makes sense

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yes :) the I think stem and leaf plots are like you put the ones place numbers on the leaf side and the other part of the number on the stem side like 11 | 3 4 represents 113 and 114

OpenStudy (math_genius123):

the mode is 143

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Oh I see.

OpenStudy (math_genius123):

mode is what number appears most ofter in the data set

OpenStudy (math_genius123):

*often

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

What about part two?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

that would be just find the least number (smallest number) out of 110,114,124, 130, 132,143,143,147

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Oh.. so it would be 110 right?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep :)

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

What about part three?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

the 14 stem would include 143, 143, 143, 147 I'm not entirely sure what they would represent tho :/

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Oh, Let me try.. hold on..
