I need to calculate days on my excel sheet  I also have data but dont know which structured reference to use.

With excel, you can treat days just like numbers, subtracting them, adding them, etc. You also have functions that take a date or time and return the specific date parts to be manipulated the same way.  For a  more specific answer you will need to post a more specific question.

It depends on your purpose.  The functions 'days360' and 'networkdays' each take a start date and an end date then return the number of days inbetween these two dates.  days360 assumes every month is 30 days long.  networkdays returns only working days and allows you to specify public holidays etc.
