What college courses do I take to become a computer teacher? I have a baby and will it be possible. I had him 2 days ago.
Why not start by contacting one or more of the community colleges in your area and asking for information about their computer-related majors (fields of study)? Programs vary widely in focus and degree of difficulty, as do admission standards. How are your grades? How strong are you in Math? How long are you willing to study to obtain the degree or degrees necessary for you to reach your goal? Learn all you can about careers in computing, computer science, technical education and the like. You might want to use online resources such as the "Occupational Outlook Handbook." Check out some of the info available on the following site: http://data.bls.gov/search/query/results?cx=013738036195919377644%3A6ih0hfrgl50&q=computer+instructor+inurl%3Abls.gov%2Fooh%2F
All you can really do is contact colleges or research college courses for becoming a computer teacher. Theres core and then main classes. But, other than that I wish you the best of luck with your newborn baby. :)
