How do I graph y= abs(4x+3) I know it will have a "v" shape upward but I don't know where the vertex will start or how open or closed it will be.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

since it's a function of absolute value the minimum value must be zero, so if you set |4x+3|=0 you find the vertex of the graph
