MEDAL AND FAN FOR AWESOME PEOPLE Factor x^2 + 5x + 6.

OpenStudy (jjuden):

a (x + 1)(x + 5) b (x + 2)(x + 3) c (x + 1)(x + 6) d prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is A because you take x^2 and split it up so that it looks like (x ) (x ) and then you figure out what times what = 6 when multiplied and = 5 when added which the answer is 1 and 5 and since in the equation all the symbols are positive they are bothe plus symbols in between so it then looks like (x+1) (x+5) so the answer is A.
