Have you tried drawing the possible triangles, all with sides 5 and 10, with differing third sides? I'd bet that such illustrations would tell y ou pretty quickly which of the four possible triangles is/are acute.

Another way to approach this would be to use the Pythagorean Theorem to determine whether any 3 sides produce a right triangle (which we'd eliminate because it is not acute).
