Factor the trinomial. 198q^3r^2-184q^2r^2+18qr^2
First, go hunting for common factors. I see a 2qr^2 for starters 2q(r^2)(99q^2-92q+9) Can we factor the remaining trinomial? (92)^2 - 4*99*9 = 4900 = 70^2 -- So, yes, we can factor it. How would you go about that?
Ok....so would it be 2qr^2(1-9q)(9-11q)?
Please say im right........i hope.....
That will do. I am a little puzzled why you did not say (9q-1)(11q-9), but I don't actually care all that much. Your response is correct.
So the i don't have to include the 2qr^2??
Do you know if it matters or not??
Don't throw anything away. It always matters.
ok..thanks!! Thought so....I have another question similar to this one but i just need you to check it if you don't mind...
Post a new thread.
What do you mean by that...close this one and open a new one?? never heard of this kind....
