how long would it take for a ball (tossed gentle and firm) to roll 100 cm? 200? 300? 400?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

`gently and firmly` is extremely subjective. We aren't given any initial velocity for the ball? D: Or are you supposed to do experiments to figure this out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

experiments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't need to be anything exact, i just need some data so i can answer the given questions

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Then just go find a ball and a ruler silly.. This seems like a really easy experiment to do. You don't need data from us :P

OpenStudy (sachin00007):

sorry you can use the formula d=initial velocity*time+1/2*acceleration*time square
