Depends on the size of the university, ours is I think 750 - 850 something like that for each course. But, I'm in Canada :)

many people are full time students; meaning they take at least 12 units.

so 12 x $365 = $4,380

NOT counting textbooks, gas, foods, (optional expense parties XD). If you add all that that is at least $1000 more.

so in one semester you'd pay about $5,380. Now you tell me how the hell a student an $8.00/hr job can afford to pay that amount.

The only advice, coming from my experience, i'd give to people is to think TWICE before accepting that student loans.
