Will give medal! Please help :) Suppose you roll an eight-sided die two times hoping to get two numbers whose sum is even. What is the sample space? How many favorable outcomes are there?

we assume the 8 sided dice are labeled with the numbers 1 through 8 right? 64 elements in the sample space (8 times 8) and you can be fairly sure that half of them will be even

The sample space is all the possible sums: {2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16} The favorable outcomes are what you want, so all the even numbers.
