OpenStudy (timaashorty):

All I see is pipe, gang 2, 20. the hell ill never get this lol

OpenStudy (kainui):

So what do you need help with here?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Seems pretty straightforward overall.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

show him how to do that problem. step by step

OpenStudy (kainui):

First, start by finding the original rate of the workers, then instead of multiplying it by the total time, it's multiplied by only part of that time. I can help but I won't do it for anyone.

OpenStudy (yttrium):

it should be 18th not 8th

OpenStudy (yttrium):

how can i do that?

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

@Yttrium you made this problem, you just found it or you need to work it out?

OpenStudy (yttrium):

maybe you can give me some glimpse of solution and let me continue to solve it.

OpenStudy (yttrium):

i just found this and i got curious

OpenStudy (kainui):

So you need to think of the gang as being separate compared to with and without the foreman.

OpenStudy (kainui):

Then from there, you need to separate the work out into each individual person.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Check this one out a huge problem about banana's ;P http://openstudy.com/users/timaashorty#/updates/53309f9fe4b004e6ab8ea794

OpenStudy (yttrium):

OpenStudy (kainui):

Yeah, that old thread reminds me... Yeah, same mentality as what I posted there. L8r
