Political ads have been used in the past to make negative claims about a candidate's opponent. What is most important for a voter to do in evaluating the claims made in such ads? The voter should do research to verify the truth of the claims using reliable resources of information. The voter should seek political ads that are positive in their tone and make decisions based on those. The voter should ignore these political ads because they are usually full of falsehoods and opinions. The voter should believe that the claims are true since ads often use quotations from the candidates.
